Our Powerful Cloud Payroll Software Features

e-PayDay contains hundreds of features providing comprehensive payroll functionality.

When creating payroll software, it's essential to thoroughly address the needs of regulators such as the Fair Work and the Australian Taxation Office. Cutting corners isn't an option, as it compromises the software's effectiveness and usefulness. The fundamental payroll requirements remain the same for small or large businesses. By meeting these standards, we can confidently ensure a reliable and compliant solution that benefits businesses of all sizes and operates seamlessly within the regulatory framework.

When talking about payroll, using the term "simplifying" is a commonly used marketing tactic. What software can really do is streamline payroll processes to meet the requirements. Remembering payroll is complex and always changing due to new legislation is important. True simplification can only happen at a governmental level through decisions that reduce some of the complexity. But don't worry; we can still make procedures more efficient, improve productivity, and assist in mitigating potential errors.

The user experience distinguishes various payroll solutions. Although the core functionality should be similar between products, it often isn't.  Our primary payroll software features and functionality are detailed in our FAQs below, but many more are available. Keep checking back for details about our exciting new additions.

Our journey in payroll software development began with the innovative LOGISOFT PayPacket for DOS and has evolved into the cutting-edge e-PayDay Go Cloud. This transformation reflects our commitment to embracing advanced technology to deliver powerful payroll solutions that meet the needs of employers today and in the future.

Discover the answers to the most essential questions regarding our payroll features that can transform your business.

Organisation

Is an ABN (Australian Business Number) or a WPN (Withholding Payer Number) supported?

You can use e-PayDay Go with either an ABN or WPN.

A Withholding Payer Number (WPN) is allocated to individuals and some non-individuals who have withholding obligations under Pay as You Go (PAYG) but do not have an Australian Business Number (ABN).

Individuals who hire household help like nannies, carers, cleaners, gardeners or housekeepers may also need WPNs.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) allows direct staff employment if you self-manage your NDIS funding.

The ATO issues a WPN to certain partners in partnerships and non-individual entities who are not eligible for an ABN. This is only offered to entities with PAYG withholding obligations and must pay super for eligible employees.
